About
Vallejo martial arts students turn to Original Giron Escrima Federation HQ for Giron-system escrima training that builds practical, direct self-defense skills. Our classes combine stick, blade and empty-hand techniques, with a special focus on defending against edged weapons.
We draw on the Original Giron system, a practical art with a documented history stretching back to the Philippines, and we teach it to students at every level, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Many of our students come from across Vallejo and the wider Solano County area, and those who want real, historically grounded martial arts find our approach especially rewarding.
Classes are known for being detailed and a lot of fun, and our instruction is built around clear, careful technique.
If you are looking for authentic escrima and a practical approach to self-defense, visit our website to learn more and get started.
