About
Whether you need fresh locs, a gentle starter loc install, or ongoing maintenance, Nappy or Not Inc offers loc and braid services tailored to you. Our team in Merritt, Oakland, serves families across Alameda County who want their hair cared for with skill and patience.
We've built long-term relationships with clients who have trusted us for many years, and we take pride in that consistency. New loc journeys can feel intimidating, so we take the time to explain each step and make sure you feel at ease from the first visit.
Our energy stays warm and welcoming in both of our facilities, and our owner, Rhonda, takes a personal interest in every client. Many of our clients also bring in their children, and we're happy to help the whole family feel comfortable in the chair.
