My Urban Gardener

Whether you're dreaming of a lush backyard retreat or need a practical plan for a small city lot, My Urban Gardener offers landscape design tailored to your space and your style. We are a landscape design studio based in El Cerrito, serving homeowners across the East Bay who want outdoor spaces that feel both beautiful and easy to live with.

Our work begins with listening, so we take time to understand how you use your yard, what you love to look at, and how much upkeep you want to take on. Because our projects are rooted in urban gardening, we focus on making the most of compact and often challenging spaces, from narrow side yards to tight patios and shaded corners.

We design with native and climate-appropriate plants wherever possible, creating gardens that suit the Bay Area's conditions and support local wildlife. Whether you're after a complete redesign or a fresh plan for a single garden bed, we bring the same thoughtful attention to detail to every project.
