Mullein Designs

For landscape design in Berkeley and across the East Bay, Mullein Designs is here to help homeowners turn tight or tired yards into gardens they love to live in. Their team listens closely to what clients hope for and then shapes a plan that fits the space, whether that means a mostly native garden for birds, bees and butterflies or a full front-to-back hardscape and planting design.

Projects are carried from the first concept through installation, with clear communication along the way, so the process feels organized and easy to follow. They are known for creative problem-solving on small lots, finding ways to fit seating areas, raised beds and lawn into compact city yards while keeping the result feeling generous and cohesive.

Clients often return after the work is finished, checking on how the plantings have matured and staying involved as their gardens grow.
