About
Mudpuppy's Castro is a pet grooming salon in the Castro-Upper Market neighborhood of San Francisco, focused on keeping dogs clean, comfortable and healthy. Our groomers take the time to understand each dog's coat, skin and nails, and we know that a calm, friendly visit matters as much as a good cut.
Many of our clients tell us their dogs leave with shiny, healthy coats and feel noticeably better after a bath and de-shedding, and our team is glad to walk you through how a fresh cut keeps coats manageable between visits. Our dogs are greeted by other friendly pups when they arrive, which helps nervous visitors settle in right away.
We take the time to explain any matting, coat concerns or preventive steps so you know exactly what to expect for your dog's next visit. We welcome dog owners from the Castro, Noe Valley and across San Francisco who want a patient, attentive groomer for their pup.
