About
At Michael Ellis School For Dog Trainers, we help aspiring and working dog trainers build real, practical skills drawn from decades of hands-on experience. We teach both in-person and online courses, so students across the East Bay, the North Bay and beyond can learn from our programs wherever they are.
Our courses are grounded in a thoughtful, evolving approach to training that keeps curiosity and humility at the center of the work. Students value learning from an instructor known for his clear communication and his deep, long-standing knowledge of the craft.
We also offer workshops and specialty series, including dock diving, giving students a fun, hands-on way to expand their skills. Our Santa Rosa facility is clean, well kept and welcoming, with plenty to learn and do for trainers at every stage.
