Whether you need a safe place for a short trip or a longer stay while you're away, Mau House Cat Hotel offers cat boarding tailored to you. Our cats stay in private rooms rather than cages, with space to roam, windows to watch the world, and shelves and chairs on different levels to relax.

You're welcome to bring your cat's own food, blankets and favorite scratching post so they feel right at home, and we follow your feeding schedule and daily routine carefully. We send regular updates and photos so you can see that your cat is settling in comfortably, and we're happy to support cats with daily medications.

Our owner, Julie, personally oversees every stay, and we understand that plans sometimes change, so we work flexibly with drop-off and pick-up times. We're proud to care for cats from Richmond and across Contra Costa County and the East Bay, and our rates are reasonable for the care we provide.
