About
Based in San Jose, Matt Trains K9s offers dog training, including board and train programs, private in-home sessions and group classes, for families across Santa Clara County and the wider Bay Area. Clients come from as far as Concord to work with Matt, often after other training has fallen short, and we take pride in tailoring each program to the individual dog and the people who live with it.
Our work covers everything from leash manners and reliable recall to calmer behavior around other dogs, and we coach owners as closely as we work with their dogs, so the progress lasts after the training ends. We are especially known for helping powerful working breeds and anxious rescues, and for patient, clear guidance that helps families feel confident handling their dogs at home and out on walks.
Whether you have a new puppy or an adult dog with habits to unlearn, we would love to help you build a calmer, happier companion.
Book online through our website, or give us a call to talk through your dog's needs.
