About
Marin Humane brings animal shelter services, pet adoption, dog training, and wildlife help to Novato and the wider Marin County community. Our staff are known for being knowledgeable, calm, and compassionate, whether they're helping a family find the right companion animal or guiding someone through a stressful wildlife situation in their home.
We take the time to explain each situation, answer questions, and help people understand the safest and most humane next steps, for animals and people alike. Our campus is spacious and well kept, with a dog park on site and regular community events, including pet-focused gatherings that bring families together.
Families from across Marin and as far as the North Bay and Solano County visit us to adopt, learn, and get support for their pets.
Book through our website or stop by to meet the animals waiting for their forever homes.
