About
Based in Berkeley, Local x Design serves fresh salads, grain bowls, and fries, along with Peet's coffee, for the students, faculty, and visitors of UC Berkeley and the wider East Bay. Our kitchen cooks each order to order, so plates arrive fresh and cooked just right.
We build our bowls around quality ingredients, from well-sourced chicken to root vegetables and house-pickled onions, with sauces made in-house. Our bright, clean dining room is designed to fit the building, and acoustic panels keep the noise comfortable even at lunch rush.
Dishes are generously portioned and reasonably priced for the campus setting.
Stop by for a fresh lunch or a coffee break, or visit our website at dining.berkeley.edu to see what's on the menu.
