About
Life AcuMed Spa brings acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and medical spa treatments to San Mateo and the Peninsula. We combine acupuncture, cupping and massage with skin and body treatments such as radiofrequency microneedling, HIFU and Emsculpt, so you can address both wellness and aesthetic goals in one place.
Our approach is to look at the root cause of a concern rather than only its symptoms, whether that's chronic back pain, a cough or a sprain. Every treatment is customized to your body, skin and goals, and we take the time to explain each step so you feel comfortable from start to finish.
Many of our patients come to us for years, and they tell us they leave feeling more relaxed, balanced and better overall. Families across San Mateo County are welcome, from adults managing long-term pain to younger patients who are new to acupuncture.
