About
Looking for psychoanalytic care in Berkeley? Lacanian School-Psychnlyss: Filinson Richard N MD offers medical consultation grounded in the Lacanian approach to the mind.
We are a doctor's practice serving Berkeley and the wider East Bay, welcoming adults who want a thoughtful, unhurried space to explore what troubles them. Our work draws on the Lacanian tradition, which takes seriously the words we use and the patterns that repeat in our lives.
We aim to listen closely, speak plainly, and help each person make sense of their own experience at a pace that suits them.
If you would like to learn more or arrange a first conversation, please call or stop by our office.
