Jujitsu-Yoshin Jitsu Kai is a martial arts school in Livermore, Alameda County, focused on classical jujutsu and the improvement of character through training. We have been teaching the traditional Japanese healing and fighting arts of Danzan Ryu since 1977, so our curriculum covers throws, chokes, joint locks, and strikes.
Our classes are kept small, which means every student gets personalized instruction from experienced instructors, many with decades of practice behind them. We place a strong emphasis on safety and kokua, the spirit of mutual help, so students of all levels can train with confidence.
Our pace is steady and welcoming, and students tell us they appreciate the variety of techniques we teach and the friendly atmosphere in the dojo. Whether you are new to martial arts or returning to training, we would love to have you join our community across Livermore and the East Bay.
