Joanne Davis, LMFT Thrive Counseling and Therapy is a psychotherapy and relationship counseling practice in the Financial District-South Beach neighborhood of San Francisco, focused on helping clients work through childhood trauma and move toward a more grounded, positive life. We use EMDR and somatic and sensorimotor approaches to get at the root of what's driving distress, going beyond talk therapy to help clients rewire their nervous system and feel more at home in their bodies.

Our work is gentle and empowering, and clients often tell us they feel truly heard and cared for from the very first session. Many of the people we work with have been with us for years, returning as their healing journey deepens and evolves.

We also offer sessions over Zoom, so clients across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area can continue their work from wherever they are.
