Japan Karate Association/American Federation Institute

At Japan Karate Association/American Federation Institute, we welcome students in the Western Addition and across San Francisco who want to build discipline, fitness and confidence through traditional karate training. We teach martial arts for students of different ages and experience levels, with a focus on sound technique and steady progress.

Our classes are structured to challenge you while keeping every student safe and supported. Whether you are training for self-defense, improving your fitness or simply looking for a rewarding activity, we make it easy to get started.

Stop by or give us a call to ask about classes and find the right fit for you.
