About
At James M. Comfort, CMT, we help Russian Hill and San Francisco clients find lasting relief from chronic pain, tension and stiffness through skilled, hands-on massage and craniosacral therapy. We are a licensed massage therapist, and our sessions are shaped around what each client needs, from long-term issues like scar tissue and recurring back pain to the simple desire to feel more at ease in their body.
Many of our clients are other bodyworkers and people with complex medical histories, and they tell us that our attentive listening, careful pressure and steady check-ins make a real difference in how they feel afterward. We also bring our work to clients' homes across the city, so you can enjoy a calm, therapeutic session in a familiar and comfortable setting.
Whether you are seeking relief for ongoing discomfort or a more relaxing routine, we would be glad to help.
