Hamel

Hamel is a winery and vineyard in Sonoma focused on immersive, education-led tastings of its estate wines. Set on a stunning property with sweeping vista views, our visits begin the moment you arrive at the Estate House and continue with a guided walk through our cave and a look at our concrete eggs.

Our hosts take the time to share the history of the estate and the winemaking process, making each tasting feel personal rather than rushed. Our sauvignon blanc and grenache are among the favorites guests return to, and our reds in particular win over visitors who usually reach for whites.

We farm our vineyard without irrigation, letting the vines send their roots deep into the soil, which is a part of the story we love sharing with guests. Whether you are visiting Sonoma for the day or exploring Sonoma County wine country for the first time, we'd love to host you.
