About
At Hairplay by Rumi, we help Lafayette and the wider East Bay look and feel their best with thoughtful haircuts, color and styling tailored to each client. We want every visit to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive, so our studio is bright, cozy and immaculately clean, and we take the time to understand what you're after before we pick up the scissors.
Our services include precision cutting with layers and lengths, highlights, and henna treatments, along with styling and expert advice on keeping your hair healthy and well maintained at home. Many of our clients are long-time regulars who appreciate our warm, sociable approach and the feeling that they're being looked after rather than rushed.
We're happy to offer a free consultation so you can talk through your goals and get personalized recommendations before your appointment.
