About
Ground Rules Academy Jiu Jitsu offers discipline, confidence, and a welcoming community for students of all ages in Pleasanton. Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are technical and challenging, with plenty of room for beginners and experienced grapplers to keep improving.
Coach Russ, who brings both years of martial arts experience and a background in education, makes sure every student understands the why behind each technique. Our kids' classes are high-energy and engaging, helping young students build respect, focus, and physical skills while they have fun.
Families across Pleasanton and the surrounding East Bay tell us they appreciate a clean, well-organized academy where everyone is greeted and encouraged from the first visit.
Drop in for an open mat or a trial class, and see for yourself why so many students keep coming back to train with us on our website.
