About
Golden State Smog Center is a smog inspection station in Belmont, San Mateo County, focused on fast, honest smog testing for drivers across the Peninsula. We handle everything from everyday passenger cars to older and manual-transmission vehicles, including classic cars, with the same careful attention to each one.
Our owner, Norm, takes time to explain the process clearly, and he knows cars well enough to get tricky systems ready for testing, even after a dealership service has reset a car's computer. Most customers are in and out quickly, and many get same-day appointments, so we aim to keep your time and hassle to a minimum.
Our pricing is competitive, and online coupons are available on our website, so check there before you come in.
Book through our website at goldenstatesmog.info, and we recommend booking ahead since we're busy.
