About
Oakland students in the Shafter area turn to Genbukan Ohka Dojo for martial arts training that builds discipline, focus and confidence. We are a martial arts school in Oakland, serving the Shafter neighborhood and families and adults across Alameda County.
Our classes are designed for students of different ages and experience levels, so everyone can train at a pace that suits them. We focus on steady, practical technique, with an emphasis on respect, patience and personal growth both on and off the mat.
Whether you are starting your first class or returning to training, we are happy to help you find the right fit.
