Gary Maria Professional Dog Training

At Gary Maria Professional Dog Training, we help dog owners across Walnut Creek and the East Bay build calmer, happier dogs through structured, hands-on training that fits real life. We work with puppies, rescue dogs and dogs struggling with fear, anxiety or leash reactivity, and our programs move through clear levels so every skill builds on the last.

Our approach is patient and balanced: we make training engaging and fun, we never sugarcoat what it takes, and we care deeply about every dog we work with. Many of our clients start with an initial consultation, where we show what's possible with their dog and map out a plan, then move into six-week classes that give owners the tools to keep progress going at home.

We understand that dogs recover at their own pace, so we focus on helping owners read their dog's communication, support them through stressful moments, and build trust one step at a time.
