At Friendship House Association-American, we help people in the Mission and across San Francisco County recover from addiction and build sober, stable lives. We provide addiction treatment, counseling and rehabilitation programs, with a focus on Native People and the recovery needs of our community.
Our year-long program is built around personal relationships, so our clients are known and supported as individuals rather than case numbers. Many of the people we serve have come back to us to share how their lives have changed, and we take pride in helping them stay clean and sober over the long run.
We believe lasting recovery starts with a genuine desire to change, and we work to strengthen that hope and motivation every day.
