About
Friends of The Alameda Animal Shelter brings boarding, adoption and pet food support to Alameda and the surrounding East Bay community. Our kennel team gives every dog daily walks and time to play, so each guest feels cared for while their family is away.
We run a food pantry for dogs and cats and offer free vaccinations and microchipping once a month to help local pets stay healthy. Every animal that comes through our doors is microchipped and fixed before adoption, so new families can head home with confidence.
Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely devoted to the animals in our care, whether they are here for a short stay or looking for a forever home.
