About
Precision machining, honest communication, and real engine know-how: that's what we offer at Flying Colors Racing. We're an auto machine shop in Berkeley serving enthusiasts and drivers across Alameda County and the East Bay, with a focus on performance engine work.
Our services include engine block and cylinder head machining, porting, valvetrain work, and full engine assembly, from stroker builds to motorsport rebuilds. We work on a wide range of engines, including BMW, Volkswagen and Audi platforms, and we're equally at home on many others.
Our customers often tell us we keep them updated every week and stick to a realistic timeline, which is rarer in this field than it should be. We also take the time to share what we know, so you understand the details of your build and feel confident in the result.
