Fairmount Auto Service

Whether you need a routine tune-up or a repair you didn't see coming, Fairmount Auto Service offers auto repair tailored to you. We're an auto repair shop in El Cerrito, serving drivers across the East Bay with everything from brake work to full maintenance on Japanese, European and domestic vehicles.

We take the time to diagnose problems accurately, explain which repairs are urgent and which can wait, and walk you through the cost and timing before any work begins. Our customers often tell us we go beyond the basics, including the steps other shops tend to skip and using quality parts for each job.

Many of our customers have trusted us with their cars for years, and we're glad to offer pre-purchase inspections when you're considering a used car. We also keep our pricing fair, often coming in below what you'd pay at dealerships and larger chain shops along San Pablo.

Call us or stop by the shop to schedule your next service, and let us take a look at what your car needs.
