Excel Painting & Restoration

Excel Painting & Restoration is a painting and restoration contractor in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco focused on careful, old-school craftsmanship for period homes. We specialize in exterior and interior painting, trim and siding repair, and full restoration work on older properties, including Victorian and Edwardian homes across San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Our approach starts with patiently removing old paint and damaged material to reveal the original wood, so that the finished result respects the character of the house. We sand and prep thoroughly, repair cracks and rotted trim, source matching moldings, and finish with careful priming and multiple coats.

Homeowners consistently tell us they value how transparent we are with our quotes and how clearly we explain what we find during a project. Our crews keep the job site tidy at the end of each day and treat every home with the same pride we'd want for our own.
