About
Whether you need a confident start for your child or a serious challenge for yourself, Escolta Martial Arts offers martial arts training tailored to you. Based in Redwood City, we teach kids karate and taekwondo alongside adult MMA and BJJ classes, with adult sessions running every day.
Our instructors are patient and encouraging, and they focus on building confidence, discipline, respect, and focus in every student. Many families who train with us tell us they've seen real growth in their children, from stronger kicks and punches to the confidence to spar with older kids.
Our adult classes blend conditioning with solid technique, so students of all levels, including those who weren't especially athletic at first, can build real strength and skill. Families across Redwood City and throughout San Mateo County are welcome to try a class, and we offer day passes so you can experience the program before you commit.
