Based in Walnut Creek, Empowered Mind Therapy Center provides individual therapy, EMDR and group therapy for adults and clients across Contra Costa County and the East Bay. Our team brings a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach, with particular care for LGBTQ+ clients, survivors of violence and trafficking, and professional women of color.
We tailor each course of treatment to the client's needs, blending clinical skill with warmth and a good sense of humor to make therapy feel approachable. Our EMDR work is offered as a focused complement to talk therapy, helping clients process past experiences at their own pace.
We are also proud to be a women-owned, Asian-owned and Latino-owned practice, coordinating care with other professionals and parents when that serves the client.
