About
Whether you're looking to adopt a new companion or help a lost animal find its way home, East County Animal Shelter offers animal adoption and care tailored to you. Our team in Dublin serves families across the East Bay and throughout Alameda County who want a loving pet to welcome into their homes.
Our volunteers and staff take time to get to know each animal, so we can help you find the right match, whether you're after a playful puppy or a gentle older companion. We care for every animal in our shelter with real dedication to their well-being, and we're proud of the team that makes that possible.
Many of our adopters tell us how much they appreciate the extra care we provide, from helping new pets settle in to sending them home with the essentials they need.
Visit our adoption page on the Alameda County Sheriff's website to see who's available, or stop by to meet them in person.
