About
Based in El Cerrito, East Bay Judo Institute teaches judo to students of all ages across Contra Costa County and the East Bay. The dojo blends the traditional values of judo, such as discipline, respect and hard work, with a modern approach to technique and competitive development.
Classes are taught with precision and care, and the instructors give each student the attention needed to progress at their own pace. Families often train together here, and many students have stayed for years, building lasting friendships both on and off the mat.
We are proud of a collaborative approach to working with families and a culture that supports one another through the challenges of everyday life.
