About
Doggie Protective Services (DPS Rescue) brings thoughtfully matched dog adoptions to Palo Alto and the wider Santa Clara County area. Our appointment-only process starts with a thorough application, so we take time to understand each family's home, including children, other pets and daily routines.
We're known for honest, detailed information about each dog's personality and traits, so you know what you're welcoming home before you commit. Our team responds promptly and keeps families informed at every step, from the first inquiry through the adoption itself.
We also work carefully to find the right fit, even when a first match isn't the one, and we're proud of the forever companions we've placed with families across the Peninsula.
If you're within driving distance and ready to begin, you can visit our website to learn more and start the process.
