County of Santa Clara Animal Services

Based in San Martin, County of Santa Clara Animal Services provides pet adoption and animal shelter care for Santa Clara County and the South Bay. Our facility houses dogs, cats, and small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, and we give each one attentive care and a clean, well-kept space while they wait for a new home.

Visitors often find that our staff is helpful and genuinely concerned about each animal's welfare, and we're glad to walk new adopters through our process. Finding the right companion can take more than one visit, so we encourage you to meet the animals, read their profiles, and talk with our team about what fits your household.

Many families across the South Bay have welcomed a new pet through us, including cats that visitors can spend time with in our cat rooms before making a decision. We also provide spay and neuter care for adopted animals, which helps every pet settle into its new home healthy and comfortable.
