About
In the heart of the Mission, Chris' Discount Muffler & Brake keeps San Francisco drivers rolling with dependable auto repair, from brakes and mufflers to check engine diagnostics and smog work. Our approach is simple: we find the real cause of a problem rather than reaching for the most expensive fix, and we explain what your car needs in plain language.
Many of our customers have been with us for decades, and we're proud of the trust they place in our team, including those who don't consider themselves car people. We treat every visit with honesty and respect, and we're glad to make the time for drivers who need us, even when that means staying late to get the job done.
Whether it's a quick brake job or a stubborn check engine light, we aim to get you back on the road fast, with pricing that's transparent from the start.
Stop by or give us a call, and we'll take a look at what your car needs.
