About
Based in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco, Carla Chan L.Ac @ Point of Essence Acupuncture provides acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatments for patients across San Francisco and the surrounding Peninsula and city communities. Our clinic is a calm, peaceful space, and we take the time to really listen, asking thoughtful questions to understand how your health concerns connect.
We treat a wide range of concerns, including longstanding pain, injury recovery such as plantar fasciitis, and seasonal symptoms like congestion and flu-like complaints. Our gentle approach puts even needle-shy patients at ease, and many families in the city have trusted us with their care over the years.
Beyond each treatment, we aim to help you understand your overall health and how to maintain balance and energy going forward.
