About
California Chins - Chinchilla Rescue gives chinchillas a second chance with rescue and adoption services for Sunnyvale and the wider Santa Clara County area. We care for every chinchilla in our rescue, and we make sure each one is clean, healthy and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes.
Our adoption days are a favorite for families across the South Bay, with reduced supply prices and fee-waived adoptions for those who take a chin home. We take the time to share the facts about chinchilla care, behavior and responsibilities, so adopters know what a 10 to 15 year commitment involves.
Our team brings real expertise and a genuine love for these animals to every visit, whether you're adopting your first chinchilla or your seventh.
If you're ready to welcome a chinchilla into your home, visit our website to learn more about our available animals, or stop by and meet them in person.
