Café do Canto - Portuguese Café

In the heart of Little Portugal, Café do Canto - Portuguese Café serves coffee, pastries and sandwiches in a warm, family-run space in San Jose. Our shop is run by a Portuguese family, and we bring the flavors and café culture of Portugal to neighbors across Little Portugal and Santa Clara County.

We pour espresso drinks, lattes and cappuccinos, with soy and almond milk available, and we bake a custard pastry, the pastel de nata, that guests often tell us they love for its creamy texture and balanced sweetness. Our queijada de nata and our ham and cheese and prosciutto sandwiches are popular choices for breakfast or a quick bite.
