In the heart of Adams Point, BodhiSattva Counseling offers psychotherapy for individuals, teens, and families across Oakland and the East Bay. Our work is grounded in a gentle, unjudgmental, and curious approach, so clients can feel comfortable and understood from the very first session.
We have supported people through anxiety, panic attacks, stress, and recovery from past trauma, helping them unlearn unhealthy patterns and build new ways of living that feel more true to who they are. Many of our clients are queer and trans youth and teens, and we are proud to be LGBTQ+ friendly and a trusted space for gender identity exploration.
We also offer the Safe and Sound Protocol, a non-medication approach for trauma and overstimulation, and our sessions are available in person or virtually.
