Bit of Ireland Bakery brings classic breads, pastries, cookies and custom cakes, along with a few Irish specialties, to San Leandro and the East Bay. We're a family-run, mom-and-pop bakery, and we take pride in creative seasonal baking, from our hot cross buns to our St. Patrick's Day breads.
Our Irish shortbread, butter twists and assorted cookies are favorites with regulars, and our carrot cake, with its moist crumb and lightly sweet cream cheese frosting, is one of our most talked-about treats. Many customers come from across the bay for our hot cross buns, and we take special orders throughout the year for those with a larger order in mind.
