About
Berkeley Humane brings animal adoption, dog training and veterinary care to Berkeley and the East Bay. Our friendly staff and volunteers work with pets and their people at every stage, from finding a new companion to building the skills that help a dog settle in at home.
Our training classes move at a gentle pace and give each dog and owner plenty of individualized attention, including support for pets with special needs. We also offer introductory sessions that show what training looks like in practice, so you can see what to expect before you commit.
Families across Berkeley and Alameda County turn to us for pets that are well cared for and well matched to their homes.
