About
Berkeley Herbal Center is a community herbal school and wellness space in Berkeley, Alameda County, focused on plant medicine education and holistic care. Our herbalism courses and apprenticeship program teach how the body functions, how to support its systems, and how herbs can be used to heal.
Students and instructors craft the herbal creations in our small shop, which carries teas, tinctures and other handmade items. We also host community events, including tea ceremonies and tarot workshops, so people can gather, learn and be curious together.
Our teachers and staff are known for being knowledgeable, warm and welcoming, and many visitors tell us our space feels like a third place they can call home. Whether you are a curious beginner or looking to deepen your practice, we'd love to welcome you.
