About
Based in Benicia, Benicia Shotokan Karate Academy offers karate instruction for students across Benicia and Solano County. Our classes are built around detailed, patient instruction, with teachers who take the time to make sure every student understands the technique behind each movement.
Families bring their children to us because the kids have fun while learning discipline and focus, and the instructors are known for being patient and encouraging with students of every age. Adults who have trained elsewhere often find the depth of instruction here is something they hadn't experienced before, and our head instructor trains alongside students in class.
Many of our students have trained with us for years, and we're proud of how welcoming and friendly our dojo is from the very first day. Students from across the East Bay and beyond make the trip to train with us, and we would love to welcome you to the mat.
