About
In the heart of Portola, Bay Area Parrot Rescue finds loving, lasting homes for parrots and macaws that need a new family. We care for birds in our San Francisco sanctuary, keeping them clean, well cared for, and socialized outside their cages every day.
Our team works closely with owners who must rehome their birds, offering practical advice, guidance on handling, and a patient ear through each step. We follow up with medical care where needed and keep families updated on each bird's progress as we prepare them for placement.
Every adoption is matched with care, so each bird goes to a home where it can thrive for years to come. We serve families across San Francisco and the Peninsula who are looking for a parrot companion or need a trusted place to rehome their own birds.
