About
Bay Area Cats is an animal rescue service in Sunnyvale focused on rescuing, fostering and finding homes for cats across Santa Clara County. We take in stray and community cats, and our volunteers and fosters give each cat the care it needs before it moves into a new home.
Our team walks adopters through every step, from choosing a cat to getting settled, and we take the time to describe each cat's personality so families find the right match, whether they're bringing home a single kitten or adding to a household with other cats. We also run low-cost and free spay and neuter services and trap-neuter-return work, which helps keep the local cat population healthy and under control.
When a cat or kitten needs help quickly, we respond with patience and no judgment, and we'll go out of our way to get it safe care.
Families from Sunnyvale and across the South Bay who are ready to welcome a new feline friend are invited to visit our website to learn about our adoptable cats and how to get involved.
