In the heart of Mission Bay, Bakar Fitness & Recreation Center at UCSF Mission Bay offers a spacious, clean gym with a good mix of equipment across several levels. Our strength area has a solid selection of squat and deadlift racks, and the layout makes it easy to find a split lane at most hours.
Our two pools are a highlight, including a heated outdoor pool and a cozy indoor pool, and our sauna gets properly hot. We serve members across San Francisco and the surrounding area, and our membership team is known for being warm, helpful and flexible when life gets in the way, including freezing memberships during injuries.
Our locker rooms and showers are well kept, and the views from the building add to the experience.
