About
At Avian Rescue, we help bird lovers across Concord and the East Bay find a feathered companion that is a good match for their home and their lifestyle. We keep a wide range of birds in our home, including Amazons, macaws, cockatoos and cockatiels, so there is a good chance you will meet a bird that suits you.
Before any bird goes home with a new family, we take time to make sure you develop a real bond with it, because we care deeply about each bird's well-being. Our process is unhurried: you meet the birds, then spend time alone with them to see who you connect with.
We prefer to take our time so every bird finds a good home.
If you are serious about adopting a parrot, book through our website to plan your visit.
