Art & Science Dog Training

Art & Science Dog Training is a dog training business in the Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco focused on positive reinforcement training for puppies and adult dogs. We start by getting to know each dog and assessing where they are, then tailor the training to their individual needs and personality.

We also take the time to explain our methods to the whole family, so you can confidently reinforce what your dog is learning at home. Our approach has helped many pandemic puppies and newly adopted dogs build confidence in the city, including dogs who were nervous around big dogs or other unfamiliar situations.

Our group walks give dogs structured social time with their pack, and our one-on-one sessions cover leash skills, recall and polite greetings. We are proud to serve dog owners across San Francisco and the Peninsula who want a thoughtful, patient partner for their dog's training.
