About
Whether you need everyday eyeglasses, sun protection, or reading lenses, Aperture Optix Optometric offers eye care and eyewear tailored to you. Our Piedmont Avenue shop in Oakland carries thousands of frames, from modern designs to bespoke styles, and we take the time to narrow the choices down to the pair that suits your face and your taste.
Our optometrists can often see you the same day, so you can place your order without waiting weeks for an appointment. We are known for patient, careful fittings, and we will happily adjust frames as many times as it takes to sit comfortably on your ears and nose.
Many of our clients tell us they arrive expecting a quick errand and end up staying much longer, enjoying a cup of tea while they browse. We serve families and professionals across Oakland, Piedmont and the East Bay who want a relaxed, knowledgeable experience when choosing glasses.
