Amphora Psychotherapy brings thoughtful, relationally grounded psychotherapy and consultation to Marina and across San Francisco. Our work blends careful psychoanalytic thinking with a warm, collaborative approach to case consultation, so clients and clinicians alike feel genuinely heard.

We offer individual psychotherapy, marriage and relationship counseling, and consultation groups for therapists who are building their practice. Our practice is known for its deep, compassionate attunement, the ability to hear what is left unsaid as well as what is spoken.

Many therapists who have trained with us describe the group as a steadying home base during early practice, with room to learn, explore, and grow. Our approach is built on warmth, thoughtfulness, and insight, and we aim to create the kind of safe, supportive presence where meaningful healing can happen.
