Whether you need a safe place to build confidence and self-defense skills or a competitive team to push your jiu jitsu forward, Alere Jiu Jitsu Academy offers Brazilian jiu jitsu training tailored to you. Our academy in Castro Valley serves families and adult students across Alameda County and the East Bay, and we welcome complete beginners as well as higher belts.
Our coaches are known for knowledgeable, committed instruction that adapts to each student's goals, whether that is competition, fitness, or self-defense. Students tell us they appreciate techniques that are easy to understand and a training floor where rolling feels safe and supportive.
